As a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible to source, and recruit drivers according to the qualifications as set out by C.A.T.


  • Recruitment, selection and hiring of professional cross border Class 1, and A/Z drivers and Owner Operators.
  • Ensuring that new recruits meet the company hiring standards.
  • Supporting the manpower needs of the business through regular communication with the operations team across Canada.
  • Assisting in the development of recruiting strategies that positively promote the company brand, including various advertising media, social media, and industry recruiting events.
  • Organize driving tests for potential drivers
  • Process paperwork as per Hiring SOP for hired driver’s including contract, application and supporting documents
  • Maintain contacts in the industry and promote the Company and the benefits as a top tier employer.
  • Ensure all files are up to date and complete


  • Previous experience in a recruiting role is a definite asset
  • Proficiency with standard business software tools is required
  • Excellent communication and written skills in English
  • Must have superior interpersonal skills, be well organized and be a strong communicator.
  • Excellent time management skills and can multi-task
  • Understanding and measuring KPI targets
  • Minimum 3-4 years in Transport and recruitment experience
  • **Must be able to travel 5-10% and have a valid passport**
