Role

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Director, the HR Business Partner collaborates with the team to manage the full cycle of the group insurance program, recruits for administrative positions, handles labour relations, and follows up on various projects. The candidate will play an important role in the implementation and integration of new group insurance plans for all Canadian divisions. Below is an overview of the responsibilities for this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a specialist for employees and the HR team in managing group insurance records;
  • Address and resolve issues related to insurance coverage and group insurance deductions;
  • Oversee the complete management of the group insurance program (enrollment, reporting, billing, etc.);
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes related to employee benefits;
  • Contribute to all stages of implementing new group insurance plans;
  • Manage various tasks, including disability, labor relations and special projects;
  • Process hires and terminations in accordance with established policies;
  • Full cycle recruitment for administrative positions.

 

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in human resources;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing group insurance programs is essential;
  • A bachelor’s degree or certificate in human resources is an asset;
  • Organized and detail-oriented;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Dynamic and motivated.
