Job Summary

As a National Property Manager, you will oversee and manage leases, properties, and real estate operations across our terminals in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Your role includes coordinating leases, negotiating agreements, handling tenant requests, managing budgets, and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities. You will also promote available properties, supervise improvement projects, and ensure cost-effective property management.

 

Role

  • Coordinate and follow up on leases with the various owners and tenants (around twenty terminals in Canada, the United States and Mexico)
  • Draft and negotiate the various leases
  • Monitoring of invoicing related to leases
  • Manage requests from occupants of terminals and buildings with regards to real estate
  • Promote available buildings and locations to rent them out
  • Manage and negotiate the bids necessary for improvement or repair work
  • Monitor budgets and costs associated with different buildings and terminals
  • Participate in the elaboration and approval of real estate budgets
  • All other tasks related to the position

 

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate in Administration or FinanceMinimum five (5) years experience in a related or similar position
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel, AutoCAD
  • Bilingual, written and spoken (English, French) (essential)
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles
  • Good knowledge of commercial/industrial property management & Leasing
  • Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
