Location

Role

  • Draft, transcribe/edit letters, agreements, contracts, procedures, reports and other documents
  • Process third-party and supplier invoices
  • File, organize, scan, manage, copy and fax legal documents in a timely manner
  • Answer telephone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls where appropriate
  • Facilitate adherence to deadlines by maintaining multiple agendas and providing timely reminders
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the position, including triage and management of requests, claims and billing

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related or similar position
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Superior written and oral communication skills in English and French
  • Experience in the transportation industry an asset
  • Knowledge of contract and claims management an asset
  • Knowledge of legal documents and terminology
  • Working knowledge of litigation management software systems
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a team with lawyers and other colleagues
  • Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor
