About these opportunities

Reporting directly to the VPHR, the Talent Acquisition Business Partners (TABPs are responsible for leading and executing high volume, and full cycle recruitment of salaried positions for assigned territories and departments within C.A.T. Inc. from sourcing through to on-boarding. You will create effective strategies for filling positions with high quality, internal or external candidates in a timely manner and for delivering an amazing experience to our candidates and Hiring Managers. You’ll have experience of delivering high quality recruitment support both face-to-face and virtually. You are true people-persons who take pride in helping others.

 

Role & responsibilities

 

Taking full ownership of the talent acquisition process, the successful TABP will be ensuring timely resolution to recruiting challenges by:

  • working with our internal teams to come up with innovative pro-active outreach for talent and suggesting news ways we can be active in a talent space, to take our reach to new heights;
  • revising role profiles, job requirements, understand local challenges, screening and assessing technical and behavioural competencies, conducting interviews, prepare and conduct debriefs, pre-employment, and offers of employment;
  • pro-actively sourcing, screening top candidates which includes cold calling, and utilizing various social media platforms and referrals;
  • actively growing a pipeline of talent for all disciplines in addition to active openings;
  • reporting and monitoring progress using hr scorecards and ensure delivery on TA objectives;
  • being resourceful, resilient, and pro-active, anticipating business needs, and proactively delivering solutions;
  • participating in daily meetings providing feedback to hiring managers and ensure a smooth recruitment process;
  • scheduling interviews, preparing candidates prior of interview, and preparing offer letters;
  • participating in job fairs, and open-door events;
  • exploring potential subsidiary programs in both Canada (location 1) and USA (location 2);
  • performing the verification of references and other credentials;
  • Other duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or College’s degree, preferably in People or Business-related subject
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience of working in Talent Acquisition
  • Fluently bilingual (English / French) both written & spoken (for the Coteau-du-Lac, QC location)
  • Fluently bilingual (English / Spanish) both written & spoken (for the Little Rock, AK or Dallas, TX location)
  • Experience of working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • IT Proficiency (Microsoft Outlook)
  • An Independent worker with the ability to work in-house and remotely
  • Must be able to travel 5-10%
