About the role;

Team Manager- Dispatcher (night shift)

Mississauga, ON Terminal

Role

  • Verify available resources and assign them to the computer system, while keeping accurate tracking of assignments and frequencies for our customers
  • Monitor assigned trips
  • Manage emergencies
  • Problem solving
  • Guide drivers regarding various issues, questions and other practices (such as time management, vacations, elimination of idling and eco energy solutions for fuel consumption)
  • Manage truck performance and submit performance evaluations to drivers
  • One shift is currently available to be filled, 4 days on 4 days off, 17:00 to 05:00 MST. These times and days are subject to change depending on the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • College Degree and 2 years of experience in the transport industry
  • Additional training in transportation and management considered as an asset
  • Strong computer skills
  • English comprehension
