Daniel Goyette opened the doors to C.A.T. Inc. back in 1978 because he saw an opportunity to fulfill the truckload needs of companies shipping between Canada and the U.S. His vision and dedication helped to get this new venture off the ground but his business principles, rooted in delivering quality solutions with integrity, is what continues to make C.A.T. a longstanding success.

To this day, we are family owned and operated. Our leadership team is comprised of Daniel's daughters, Annie and Karine Goyette who continue to inject new perspectives into C.A.T. operations and our industry as a whole. Their involvement secures our sustainability for the future while continuing the legacy that began over 40 years ago.

Continuous development and service expansion with the C.A.T. Group.

Over time, we’ve organically grown and strategically acquired companies specializing in niche fields of transportation to form the C.A.T. Group. Through these expansions, we proudly provide complete transportation and supply chain services throughout Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.

Another major accelerator of our growth was opening our logistics company, C.A.T. Global, in 2012. Since its inception, C.A.T. Global has quickly evolved to become C.A.T.’s second largest division, playing a significant role in the North American brokerage and logistics markets.
